Things We Miss About Google Plus // Live & Breath SEO Podcasts
Google Plus shut down. After 8 years, the social media platform was discontinued in August 2019. While the company didn’t give a specific reason for the closure, it likely has to do with the declining popularity of the platform. In the past, Google Plus was seen as a direct challenger to Facebook, but it never managed to attract as many users. This generation of people may not have an idea about what it takes to use google plus & share content on the platform. For businesses & marketers that have used Google Plus to connect with customers, this could be a major blow. But as with all things, change is inevitable and businesses will need to find new ways to reach customers online.
