First, Chat SEO is on the rise. People are searching for Chat and AI SEO. In both Google and Bing, the search engines will offer chat features and options for every user to chat with the search engine.
This will drive more and more people to search engines, by increasing their use altogether. However, these chat features will only be applicable to some queries: think how-to and research topics. Not everyone will want to use chat features either. Only about 1/2 of people currently use website chat features.
So… all this information has to come from somewhere. Chatbots don’t create their own opinions. Currently, they have been fed the information needed to provide users with answers. As they start rolling out to the public, they will have access to information across the modern web. So how do these chatbots stay legally compliant? They must reference the webpage that users can travel to for more information.
.Instead of optimizing for a term or question, we should start thinking about a conversation. Think about the customer journey around an entire service or a product to help you incorporate accurate language and you’ll see more success.
