From Simba Marketing Show (SMS Episode #6)
This is a sketch comparing two popular digital marketing techniques, Search engine optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click advertising (e.g. Google Search Ads, Facebook Ads).
I created the sketch to show you the differences between the two digital marketing techniques such as:
▪️ With SEO, it is all about creating Content that solves people’s problems in order to gain their trust, while with PPC, you are creating content that solves people’s IMMEDIATE NEEDS – they need to buy a product/service right now!
▪️ With SEO, you do not have to worry about click fraud i.e. your competitors or random people, clicking your ads in order to drive up your advertising costs (Cost per Clicks or CPC)
I genuinely believe that in order to have a successful digital marketing campaign, you need to first start with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), then once you discover Stars or Evergreens, using Simba’s Content Matrix, then, invest in Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising.
