There was a HUGE Etsy SEO update recently and many new stores can easily add descriptions with long-tail and short-tail keyword phrases. Here is my insight on this new update and a walk-through tutorial on how you can easily bulk edit your descriptions if you have over 100 listings like myself.

@heatherstudio, This was great tutorial thank you. I don't why but I thought we had to use the same keywords from our title to add in our tags and descriptions. So we can use other relatable keywords in our description and tags that are not in our title? Sorry SEO is the thing that confuses me. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

The thing I don’t understand about tags, SEO, etc. is won’t most people be using the same sort of keywords on the listings, tags, etc too? And if you’re using the same words in your shop across the board how will it boost being the same.
