An SEO website strategy is the process of planning, optimizing, and organizing your website to help it rank better in search results. SEO can have a huge impact on your business. A good SEO strategy will lead to more credible traffic and leads for your business. There are three types of SEO that you should focus on, On-page SEO, Off-page SEO, and Technical SEO.
· * On-page SEO focuses on the content of your site pages, and how to optimize it to boost the website’s ranking for specific keywords. It includes changes to elements that appear on the various pages of your website so that they can appear in more relevant search results. On-Page SEO involves anything on your website that you control, such as Keyword research, Keyword optimization, URLs, and content creation.
· * Off-page SEO involves elements that are not directly on your site but affect your ranking. The most well-known ones are backlinks. This SEO focuses on links directed to the website from elsewhere on the internet. The number of backlinks a site has from reputable sources impacts where it ranks in search results.
· * Technical SEO relates to non-content elements of your website. This SEO focuses on your website’s backend structure that impacts how users experience the front-end of your website, like your site’s speed. A good user experience is also important for readers and can affect overall traffic and engagement rates.
SEO in general is not a one-time thing. It is also not a “one-size-fits-all” strategy as what works for some industries may not work for yours. Measuring what happens to your site after SEO, is extremely important to ensure your next moves are the most optimal ones.
